Mariarosaria Stigliano SOLO EXHIBITION
Studio Arte Fuori Centro GALLERY
via Ercole Bombelli 22, Roma (Italy)
1-18 April 2014
curated by Loredana Rea

“The great works done in graphite on paper or in mixed media (with a predominant black and white) suggest the stages emblematic of an initiatory path of self-discovery in a world difficult to live (…). The characters created by the English writer are changed: Alice is now a young woman who has to deal with the problems of the present, the rabbit is a male figure reassuring and disturbing at the same time, the foot soldiers of the cards become soldiers ready to charge, to outline the complexity of everyday life.”
